Mr. Solomon Ashong is a young entrepreneur, philanthropist and an entertainment enthusiast with a passion to support the local entertainment art and youth in Ghana and beyond.
He was born in the early 80s where he attended St Mark Methodist School and proceeded to Adukrom Secondary Technical. While in his youthful age, he developed interest to support and build young arts in the
entertainment industry. He is the CEO of Solash Entertainment Company (SEC), which is responsible for artist management and organisation of concerts/shows within the country. Mr. Solomon Ashong has been able to support some prominent music arts in Ghana. The organisation has been able to support some upcoming artists and organised massive concerts and tours in and outside Ghana, the recent one being a collaboration with TIGO, one of the telecom giants in the country.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Ashong began his business journey with BriJay ventures, which is into retailing and general trading. He later started SL ASHKOT INVESTMENT LIMITED, a company which is mainly into Real estate management, haulage services, commodity trading and market research. His main reason for starting the company is to provide apartments for middle income earners as well as creating employment for Ghanaian youth. He also has projects in the pipeline to develop the tourist industry. He has the desire to empower the youth and support them.
Ghana is blessed with a lot of potential when it comes to football as a sports, to this light Mr. Ashong established Solash Soccer Management to help young footballers achieve their dreams to become professional footballers. This has helped a number of upcoming
footballers, some of which have had the chance to ply their trade in Europe, America and other parts of Africa.
Due to the high increase of street children in Ghana, he founded Solash Foundation, that seeks to educate and support street children, orphanages and under privileged persons in the society. He has run several projects for a number of orphanages and under privileged persons mostly found the northern part of the country. Currently Solash Foundation is seeking to raise funds to establish it’s a care home that will cater for the less privileged and also individuals with various health challenges.
